Forget that it's January. Forget that it's winter. It was 75 degrees and sunny today, so we took out a boat.
Lee and Camille wanted to try out their new fishing poles. We had a good time, but we also discovered that we don't know much about fishing. My dad took me fishing as a child and Lee's been fishing several times, but neither of us ever learned much about the tackle or technique. But I'm looking forward to learning.
No fish were caught, but I was just happy to be on the water, the sun on my face, the sound of the pelicans diving for all those fish we weren't catching. No complaints here.
